Chiara Atzeni is an economist focusing on the economic and financial aspects related to the quantification of damages for litigations and arbitrations and with experience in competition and regulatory policy.
Chiara has advised clients and provided support on a number of high-profile cases, including securities litigations, international arbitrations involving expropriations and shareholders’ disputes and regulatory and competition policy cases involving valuation, market analysis and data production. She has worked on cases across a range of sectors, including financial services, chemicals, oil and gas, telecoms and insurance and across a range of countries, including the UK, South America and the Middle East.
Prior to joining IEF, Chiara worked as an economist at the Office of Fair Trading and at Charles River Associates, where she focused on regulatory and competition policy and damages valuation.
Chiara holds an MSc in Finance and Economics from the London School of Economics and an MSc in Economics from Roma Tre University.
